April 2007 - New Production Manager Hired

immedia has hired Chad E Perschon as Production Manager.  Chad comes to immedia with more than 17 years of experience in the direct mail business.  He began his career in mailing in 1990 when he started a company called MailWright where he learned postal software, postal regulations and how to use production equipment such as a KirkRudy labeler.

In 1995 he went to work for Apex in Olympia as the computer department manager. During that time he provided support for and worked with all WA State Copy Center Mailings, private sector business, supervised four regular employees and additionally up to 8 temporary employees. Also indirect supervision of Production area and office personnel.

At the WA State Department of Printing Chad supervised personnel, managed equipment and processes, created programs to manage databases and streamline redundent tasks.

February 2007 - New Website Unveiled

After four months of exhaustive work, immedia has revamped its website.  This is the first major update since July 2004 when we changed our name from Mailmedia Inc to immedia.

Our on-staff Application Developer, Colleen Emerick worked on redesigning the entire site to be more user friendly and easier to navigate. The site uses DNN (DotNetNuke) to provide content management and security as well as consistent, intuitive menus and other navigational tools throughout the site. Maintaining our core brand and image while creating a cross-browser, accessible site within the DNN framework was challenging but the end result is more relative content that is better organized.

Our Director of Marketing, Tyler Anderson rewrote most of the copy for the service pages and added more content to maximize the user experience. We have worked very hard to provide our visitors with multiple ways to locate the information and resources they need.

Our new site also includes a login specific area with information and tools tailored to the visitor's role in our organization. This new level of security will allow client only access to certain pages such as online data access and file uploads.  Our vendors can login and retrieve information they need such as core brand requirements and logo files.  The employee section includes pages and modules our associates will find helpful such as corporate news and information, meeting notes, Help Desk access and QuIK forms.

December 2006 - immedia Adopts New Bi-Line

Working with an advertising creative agency, immedia has adopted a new bi-line.  Starting in January 2007 we will be using the tag line:

Smart targeted solutions.

Although we provide peace of mind to our client's, this tag line better reflects our core business  offering.  immedia is in the direct marketing business, specifically, the direct mail advertising and distribution channel. This shows at a quick glance we provide targeted marketing solutions for our client's.
